It seems like we don’t need to wait very long for more and more examples of Obama’s inexperience and lack of leadership. Im sorry I try to stay objective and put a humorous spin on some of the disturbing news but this flip flop in the matter of 5 mins on the world stage needed to be called out. First I will post the quotes from his speech in Estonia
BARACK OBAMA: So the bottom line is this: Our objective is clear, and that is to degrade and destroy ISIL so that it’s no longer a threat not just to Iraq but also the region and to the United States. In order for us to accomplish that, the first phase has been to make sure that we’ve got an Iraqi government that’s in place and that we are blunting the momentum that ISIL was carrying out. And the airstrikes have done that.
Then he spits this out about 5 minutes later….
And to go back to what I said earlier to Ann, we know that if we are joined by the international community, we can continue to shrink ISIL’s sphere of influence, its effectiveness, its financing, its military capabilities to the point where it is a manageable problem. And the question is going to be making sure we’ve got the right strategy, but also making sure that we’ve got the international will to do it.
HUH?? Seriously President Obama if you plan to gather an international coalition you can’t stand up at the podium in front of the world and waffle like a pro. No country will join in if they think you will get sick of it and pull out before the job is done. Also Syria is the base of operations so dealing with ISIS will require crushing their Hub the Tabqua Army base. We can’t deal with this by just dropping bombs. FL-D Sen. Nelson and even KY-R Sen Paul have come out and said we need action and we need it soon.
I still hope Obama will step up to the plate even though I tend to lean right I don’t want to see our country weakened and destroyed. Needless to say Im still waiting ………..
