So we were talking the other day about the Libertarian candidate and Rob was complaining about how the 2 party system along with the money requirements place an undue burden on the 3rd parties. While I agree … it’s to an extent. The libertarian party chooses it’s candidate then runs them in the general election. I say to them put on a few debates and a primary so you have a stage and a chance to drum up some support. Can’t hurt!
I think the Republicans are spoiling their opportunity by running so many candidates. The primary debates just allow a Republican celebrity deathmatch. The Democrats. … I have no clue where they will end up. Sanders appears to be running away with it … not sure how his “we must apologize for slavery” comments will play out. Hillary is still embroiled in scandal.
I hope a 3rd party would gain some steam but I’m a firm believer it won’t happen in my lifetime. I would love for the readers to chime in on this topic. Let us know on how a 3rd party could gain momentum.
