During an event Friday in his home state Rubio said “Clearly John Kasich has a better chance of stopping Donald Trump in Ohio than I do,”. There is no reading between the lines on that one. I think if I was a Establishment GOP guy I would have been screaming for this a few Tuesdays ago.
Rubio has only managed to pull 152 delegates and probably should have exited sooner. If those delegates were to have gone to Cruz he would be leading. Thats a big IF but it still needed to be said. We are not happy with any candidate this election cycle. It really has been this way the last few elections.
We are still wondering how Rubio will do Tuesday in Florida. We have said since the start that we did not think Rubio could even win his home state. Florida is a Red state for the most part aside from a couple major cities like Miami and Tampa. We think Trump will pull it out but we will see if the current organized attacks on his rallies effects support for him.
